How do celebrities get all their hair up under all those wigs?

You always see them in different wigs from one day to the next...but how do they fit the real stuff up under there? Or do they shave it all off so they can wear the wigs?

It's called "weave-on," girl

How do celebrities get all their hair up under all those wigs?

They make their slaves - oops - assistants stuff all their hair up their for them.

How do celebrities get all their hair up under all those wigs?

They probably get it sewed in or infused in. It cost tons of money. For Britney Spears it's easy she has no hair. She just puts the wig on.

How do celebrities get all their hair up under all those wigs?

Extensions

How do celebrities get all their hair up under all those wigs?

Celebrities usually employ their own professional hair and make up people that usually accompany them where ever they go....this is the reason why they stay with that "flawless" look. These hair and makeup people are part of their entourage.....and they stay in the background unnoticed. Must be nice to be able to afford that kind of attention. Best of luck to you.

Do celebrities wax their body hair to have a flawless image when they appear on camera?

You must mean men...because there's no way all these guys have hairless chests....more men wax and shave themselves that my guess is one out of two guys shave thier chest, arms and trim and clip the rest.

I don't think it's purely for the sake of the camera either.

Celebrities with long dark hair and oval faces?

Celebrities with long dark hair and oval faces?

With an oval face shape you can do almost any style you want there are many celebs with this face shape you should look them up and check out their diff hairstyles and see which you like for yourself:Sara Jessica Parker, Kate Hudson, Jesssica Alba, and Jada Pinkett all have oval face shapes.

Celebrities with long dark hair and oval faces?

Have you looked at Nelly Furtado's new hair style? It's very simple; long dark hair with blunt cut bangs. She has her hair like this in her videos for Say It Right and All Good Things, with both the bangs even and side-swept, and her hair straight or wavy. If your face shape is similar, you can get a good idea of what the cut and bangs would look like for you in a variety of styles.

Ok, what is it with blonde hair?

Why do like 90% of female celebrities have long blonde hair? You can't tell them apart, everyone looks like a clone. Where is the imagination? It's so annoying!! (and please don't say that blondes have more fun!)

Ok, what is it with blonde hair?

I do not like the popularity in blondes either.... but before you know it, everyone's going to be dying their hair brown.

blondes have more fun....... but brunettes remember it

Ok, what is it with blonde hair?

i personnally like brunettes better

Ok, what is it with blonde hair?

Don't worry baby I love me some burnettes(spl?)

for gawds sake ._.

will people drop it with the blonde thing?

im blonde, and im sick and tired of seeing questions %26amp; answers firstly, generalizing about them, saying theyre always stupid and bimbos.

cause fyi, the smartest girl in my class is blonde, and plus im blonde and im above average in the intelligence-area [:

UGH. and also, where are yew getting your facts? pfft, thats so not true, being brunette is pretty much 'in style' now because people are such generalizing ******* that they cant get the fact that not all blondes are stupid into their tiny peasized brains.

aka - i do not agree.

AT ALL.

plus, cant tell us apart? wtf? were the exact same as people with other hair colours, except that our hair colour is different!

PLUS, there are more shades of blonde than there are brunette, for example.

so wtf are yew talking about?

AGH. sorry. im ranting and the whole blonde thing is a touchy subject for me, since ive grown up being called a dumb blonde ._.

Ok, what is it with blonde hair?

As a society I think people automatically associate blonde hair with being young (you ever notice how many people have had blonde hair as kids, and it got darker?) it's just another false way celebs wanna look younger. It's not just the hair color, but everything hollywood is doing by having all of these celebs being so unnatural..all the surgeries!! I agree, people should be natural..it's much more interesting that way...Btw, I do have natural gold/blonde hair..but it shouldn't matter either way. All hair colors are pretty.

Ok, what is it with blonde hair?

im blonde, theres nothing wrong with that! thats why theres millions of haircolors. people can look how they want to. if you got a problem w/ it, dont look! lol

Ok, what is it with blonde hair?

I personally love red hair. I think the blond hair thing though is like an evolutionary response. Blond hair, like bright colorful clothing, causes a biological response in me that are all signals of hotness.

Ok, what is it with blonde hair?

yes i do agree, but everyones taste is differant

If it was all here you would probably have posted that like 97 percent of kindergardeners got it right.. they wouldn't have guessed pressure or all the other things people usually post to this. The answer is no thats why the kindergardeners got it right because they knew that they didn't know.

Do you think water quality plays a role in how your hair turns out?

I am H2O obsessed. For years I閳ユ獫e told my celebrity clients to wash their hair with bottled water since this is the best for soft, shiny hair and hydrated skin. Have you ever tried it?

Do you think water quality plays a role in how your hair turns out?

Yes. It does.

Bottled water is not necessary where I live. We have our own wells. No need for hair conditioner or body lotion.

When we head to the city, ANY city, we purchase conditioner and body lotion. As a family we use more than the hotels are willing to dole out.

You can really smell the chemicals that they add to the water!

To save a couple dollars, your budget conscious clients could wash with tap water then condition and rinse with bottled water.

Do you think water quality plays a role in how your hair turns out?

yes

Do you think water quality plays a role in how your hair turns out?

I have not washed it with water bottles, but I have tried filtered water and it is true, the water quality plays a great role.

Do you think water quality plays a role in how your hair turns out?

Good luck finding anyone that believe you are who you say you are.

Do you think water quality plays a role in how your hair turns out?

no i havent but people near me have well water n there hair is weird compared to mine but i luv my hair lol

have a great day

Do you think water quality plays a role in how your hair turns out?

Yes....I find that bottled water washes my hair better than the shower water because bottled water has been filtered thoroughly.

Do you think water quality plays a role in how your hair turns out?

I do think water quality plays a role in how my hair turns out. However, perhaps not quite like you'd think - the healthiest my hair has ever been was the summer I worked at a sleep-away camp - and washed my hair with (essentially) cleaned lake water. It was shiny and smooth, no fly-aways, etc. I noticed a big difference in texture almost as soon as I came home and started using regular water again, with no change in product.

Do you think water quality plays a role in how your hair turns out?

Absolutely, most of tap water contains far too much chlorine which can dry hair out and make it brittle. If you really want the perfect wash use a water filter on your shower or use bottled water. I am sure you know the wonderful effects pure water can have! But for those that don't , you would be surprised to see a difference!

Do you think water quality plays a role in how your hair turns out?

Yes, I wish this were really Jonathan. :(

Do you think water quality plays a role in how your hair turns out?

Yes, I have well water. Special treatments are needed for hair to take and retain color.

Best water I've ever used is fresh rainwater

Do you think water quality plays a role in how your hair turns out?

r u REALLY Jonathan? maybe ur not, but anyway, ofcourse bottled water is good for hair, coz it doesnt have all the calcium tap water does or nitrates, but u probably know that already. i've only done it when i didnt have tap water, dont u think its a waste? r u really Jonathan from the show? i love ur work if u r.

Do you think water quality plays a role in how your hair turns out?

I'm unsure.

But one fourth of bottled water is actually tap water.

It does depend on the temperture somewhat as in

hot or cold. Hot you may actually find sheds some

hair and I have noticed it. Cold will make it sleeker,

and shinier.

Do you think water quality plays a role in how your hair turns out?

yes because the chemicles in the water damage the roots.

even though a town states that their water is purified by a purifation proccess it isnt because there is many minerals leftover that are almost impossible to remove

Do you think water quality plays a role in how your hair turns out?

After having clients with build up of minerals in their hair, I have been doing clarifying treatments before color and perms since I got my cosmetology license. So yes Jonathan

Do you think water quality plays a role in how your hair turns out?

yeees

Do you think water quality plays a role in how your hair turns out?

I've never used bottled water on my hair; but I have well water which appears to be softer then regular tap water. There is a difference in my skin, hair and clothes compared to the regular tap water I used to use at my other property. It's much softer and rinses clean and clear. I also have a purifier in my kitchen and the water is absolutely crisp and clear.

Do you think water quality plays a role in how your hair turns out?

Uhm, and this is worth worrying about?

Do you think water quality plays a role in how your hair turns out?

I definitely think the water makes a difference.

When I have to go out of town and use different water my hair is different. I have had to go get conditioning treatments at a hotel spa just because the hotel water was so bad on my hair. It has happened to me time and time again. Enough that it is not just a theory with me. It is fact.

I have tried the bottled water on my hair and I love how it feels unfortunately I can't always use it.

Do you think water quality plays a role in how your hair turns out?

The quality of the water you are washing your hair in does play a major role in how your hair looks. If there is a lot of sediment in the water, your hair will look brassy and dull. Hard water has many impurities in it. I don't wash my hair with bottled water, it's too expensive for me to buy bottles of water like that, but we do have a water filter in our water pipes at my house.

EDIT: I was going to say, that I have used rain water before, and it really makes my hair soft.

Do you think water quality plays a role in how your hair turns out?

no..if i had enough money..yes, i would use imported water from france or italy..but iam not like you Mr. Antin..although, i buy specially made, herbal shampoo and conditioners from nordstrom-"the art of shaving"

line of products..i wash my hair 4x a week..i rather drink the bottled water than wash my hair with it.

p.s.- i truly love your reality show on bravo. its mind-boggling you would charge 300 to 500 dollars for a trip to your salon..but i guess thats what beverly hills is all about. good luck in your tv show sir.

Do you think water quality plays a role in how your hair turns out?

I have never tried bottled water, however I have lived in 26 different states, including Hawaii, and have had many different hair textures in my long straight style, due to the quality of the water in all of those different places. The best washes ever were in small towns where they used conditioned collected rain water and/or underground springs for the water supply. I have kept my hair at over 2 feet long most of my life. I notice a difference quickly.

On a different note, I am ready to donate my hair to the charity that makes wigs for little girls with cancer. Do you know where this is?

Do you think water quality plays a role in how your hair turns out?

I can't even afford to DRINK bottled water, and you want me to pour it on my hair? No, I've never tried it. I'm sure that if I could afford to spend the extra money on my hair, nicer shampoo would make more difference than nicer water, but I also don't doubt that water quality does make a difference too, and for someone who's already using the most expensive shampoo, why not use the most expensive water, too?

I'm sure that water quality does make a difference in how hair turns out after washing. But what I'm not sure of is that the same things that make water taste nice also make it good for hair. All drinking water has minerals dissolved in it. The main difference between tap water and bottled water is how much and which minerals there are. But it's not necessarily that bottled water has less minerals overall, it's just that it has a different balance that supposedly makes it taste better.

When it comes down to it, I really don't know what minerals are good for hair. Maybe distilled water (which, in theory, would have virtually no dissolved ions) or deionized water would be best for hair, since that's about as close to pure water as you can get. Or maybe water with lots of the right minerals would be better. I'm really not sure. But I don't doubt that the right combination of minerals dissolved in water would make a difference in how hair looks after being washed in that water.

I noticed a lot of answerers have based their answer on experience with water in different places. Be careful with this, since it's essentially an uncontrolled experiment, with far too many variables. I think it far more likely that the differences people saw under these conditions were primarily the result of differences in humidity, temperature, air pollution, etc. in these places, more than the quality of the tap water.

But then again, I may not be the most qualified person in the world to comment on hair care given that I routinely sacrifice washing my hair in favor of completing a homework assignment or studying for a test.

Do you think water quality plays a role in how your hair turns out?

I actually watched your show when you used it in the shower :) and I tried it....It worked great for my hair!! I actually bought your Shower Purification System and my hair is 100 times better!! I also use alot of your products and swear by them (the shampoo I do have to say may need some improving but that's just my opinion.) I would recommend to anyone to try bottled water for their hair!!

Do you think water quality plays a role in how your hair turns out?

Yes. It does.

Do you think water quality plays a role in how your hair turns out?

I have never tried using bottled water.Interesting thought and I think I might try it.I have noticed a different when I was my hair using city tap water vs. my family's well water.I'm assuming it's the sulfur that makes it seem to be still dirty and less manageable.

Thanks for the tip.

Do you think water quality plays a role in how your hair turns out?

No, I haven't tried it. I am sure it does play a role in how your hair turns out, though. If someone looks at what well water or hard water does to a bathtub or sink, and thinks about how much more delicate human hair is, people have to agree with your logic. It never occurred to me before, but my sister has awful problems with the health of her hair, and her water is so bad that she has a difficult time washing her dishes and clothes without mineral deposits and odd staining. The water must be contributing to her hair problems.

Do you think water quality plays a role in how your hair turns out?

I wash my hair with rain water. I have bottles and bottles of this. Now, it's probably not as good, since it's not filtered. But, it keeps my hair soft. Fresh rain water is the best though. But, I can't wait around for it to rain.

Do you think water quality plays a role in how your hair turns out?

I do think that water quality plays a role in it, although I do nothing about it. How I long for the days when my grandmother collected Indiana rainwater in buckets to wash my hair. I now live in Las Vegas without a water softener. Our water here is mineral-laden, and hard on both skin and hair. Most people here are more concerned with their drinking water quality than what they use in their hair, as most Las Vegans buy bottled water.

I did notice, however, on a Caribbean cruise that the water on the ship in which I washed my hair had an effect on it. It brought out my hair's natural curliness, and therefore I went the entire cruise without blow-drying or using a curling iron. That experience inspired the natural non-chemically enhanced hair that I now wear.

In the summer of 2004, I virtually shaved off all my hair down to about 1/4 inch. It's now grown out to about 12", and I now wear styles that feature my natural waves and curls. HALLELUJAH! I'm now free from chemicals and devices, and my hair is stronger than ever!

In spite of these facts, I do love your show, and convinced my mother--a former beautician and barber--to watch it, as well. Your Beauty Water Shower Purification System was a brilliant way to go. Next, how about considering your own brand of vitamins, since hair quality originates internally? I don't go to bed without popping mine. You could call them something like "Jonathan Product Intensives." Catchy, huh?

Do you think water quality plays a role in how your hair turns out?

Yes! I absolutely believe that water quality plays an important role in how your hair looks. Most forms of tap water are filled with impurities (chlorine, radon, etc) and many different types of metals...which are obviously *not* good for your hair.

I am a little germ-phobic, and I don't drink or use regular tap water for anything. I have a water filter that attaches to my shower head that purifies the water. I have definitely noticed a difference in the softness and hydration of my hair and skin since using the purified water. Also, my hair is noticeably shinier and sleeker.

For anyone interested, the water filtration systems are inexpensive and you can buy them for 20 or 30 dollars at places like Home Depot.

Do you think water quality plays a role in how your hair turns out?

Yes I have in fact.

Once when our house burned down and we couldn't get assistance we had to move back in to the old house (what was left) and make due. We had no running water, electricity, and we all slept in one room. Eventually Mom and the other kids moved into a motel (thanks to the wonderful people at Red Cross, God bless them!) Because the water in the creek behind our house is contaminated (we couldn't bathe in it) due to the neighbors leach lines running directly into the creek we had to bathe with bottled water. It did leave me soft and supple but at that point I didn't care. I spent 6 hours a day cleaning up what was left of my life and the rest of the day working one of my four jobs that by the time I took a bath I was exahusted.

I also washed my clothes in bottled water with a scrub board and old fassioned washer stick. Doing clothes like that was a nightmare but I'm sure doing clothes in a tub with bottled water helped my skin some.

P.S. This was just 3 years ago and I was 18...Welcome to Oklahoma.

Moral of the story? When you're family is starving and practically homeless you don't care about your hair...You start thinking about other things than YOURSELF and work, HARD. Period....

Oh, and another thing...I'd like to see you wash my 3 1/2 foot long hair with bottled water...Good luck! It took at least 6 gallons of bottled water to do just my hair. I was blessed enough to have a boss that let me shower at work in his office once a week when he was gone...

Do you think water quality plays a role in how your hair turns out?

I use Evian water to wash my hair. I think it does a great job. Take a look at my avatar. I had washed my hair just a little while before this photo was taken.

Have you ever seen hair that was so banging?

Do african american celebrities with non-natural straight hair have to RE straighten it everyday?

Like say Beyonce, she has really straight hair, obviously not natural, but does she have to wake up and straighten it everyday?

Please respond

Do african american celebrities with non-natural straight hair have to RE straighten it everyday?

It seem retarded for them to wake up every day and think I want my hair to be straight. The world would be better if they woke up an taught everyone they loved their natural hair and sported natural beauty.

Do african american celebrities with non-natural straight hair have to RE straighten it everyday?

No SILLY

Do african american celebrities with non-natural straight hair have to RE straighten it everyday?

probably not EVERYday, but maybe every other day. sometimes its probably still straight from the day before.

Do african american celebrities with non-natural straight hair have to RE straighten it everyday?

my friend has hair like that, she chemically straitens it, so its straiter, then i think she straitens it to get it how she wants.

Do african american celebrities with non-natural straight hair have to RE straighten it everyday?

no

some wear weaves or extensions

some have relaxers which make their hair go straight

some are ethnically mixed (like a white or asian parent) and have straight hair

Do african american celebrities with non-natural straight hair have to RE straighten it everyday?

Beyonce has weaves. So does Tyra. They also sometimes wear color contacts.

Do african american celebrities with non-natural straight hair have to RE straighten it everyday?

Probably not. Most likely they use chemical straighteners like relaxers and almost always accompany that with a sewn in weave. The weave keeps straight styles longer than natural hair, so it may not be necessary to straighten daily.

Wrapping hair can keep it straight with a little curve to it but the best way to keep it super straight is to clip up with a hair clip (like the duck bill looking ones) and sleep on your stomach, not your back (it crinkles up your hair). If you are prone to sleeping "bad", you can wrap in a scarf to make sure your pillow doesn't tug you hair around. In the morning, brush it out really good with a round brush and any creases should go away. You can also blow dry on a lukewarm setting (not cold) while brushing out to get that just blown and straightened look.

HELP! My hair is so thick and frizzy!?

My hair is reallllyy thick and super frizzy. All my friends have this gorgeous thin layered hair and they can always do gorgeous things with their bangs and stuff. Everyone says I should get it layered, should I!? And what style should I get. My hair just lays flat around my face and it is always frizzy ou around the ends, even when I straighten it! I have to stragiten it almost ALWAYS! help me!

I can't get it permed, because my hair is already curly.. that wouldn't really help me. And all the smoothing creams I used haven't worked. What exactly should I tell the styllits, and does anyone know of any celebrities I could model my hair after?!!? They have to have thick hair.

okay, and so that you can picture my hair it is EXACTLY like Hermione's from Harry Potter! [when i dont have it stragthened].. So what do I do!?

Report It

HELP! My hair is so thick and frizzy!?

Just let it grow thick and long and don't wash it everyday. Wash it every 3 or 4 days. Put mousse on it and scrunch it. My hair has never looked better since i quit washing it so much. For real..... try it you will see!

HELP! My hair is so thick and frizzy!?

You need to relax.

God made you the way you are. He has a purpose for your hair. Be happy with what you have. It will turn out great! I promise. If people at school are making fun of you. Maybe then their not your friends.

vballgurl1405@yahoo.com

HELP! My hair is so thick and frizzy!?

well first of all, if you don't wash it often, it will become oily which feels really bad and can give you acne. What you should do is wash your hair in the afternoon, to give it some time to dry comepletely (after drying your hair with a hair dryer of course) around for 2-3 hours. Then you sleep on it. The next day, your hair will feel non-oily, and clean but it will be controlled because of the 12 hours that you have given your hair some time to expose its shine

How do you make your hair poof up in the front like the celebrities when their hair is pulled back?

you keep the part you want poofed up out and put the rest back. then you can either pin it or wrap it with a second band if you are doing a pony tail, but push your hair forward so it poofs before you secure it. teasing it makes it ratty looking. i am assuming you are looking for something like hoe jessica alba does hers.

How do you make your hair poof up in the front like the celebrities when their hair is pulled back?

take a little piece in the front....poof it up, and pin it with a bobby pin, then pull ur hair in a ponytail..i do it all the time, and i do other ppls.

How do you make your hair poof up in the front like the celebrities when their hair is pulled back?

tease the section that you want to be poofy with a comb, but make sure you dont do it too much or too hard. Be gentle and use some hairspray before and after styling.

How do you make your hair poof up in the front like the celebrities when their hair is pulled back?

Tease it. Or do like they do, hire a stylist.

How do you make your hair poof up in the front like the celebrities when their hair is pulled back?

tease it (back comb) and hairspray it underneath then brush smooth hair over it

How do you make your hair poof up in the front like the celebrities when their hair is pulled back?

Don't. So 80's and looks sooooo stupid!

I want wavy hair...how?

I have tried the braiding but it takes too long and dosnt stay for long.

This may sound silly but I want a perm but is there a perm that dosn't damage hair as much? I also was thinking of a body wave perm.

My hair look like

I want wavy hair...how?

Perms are only damaging if you get them every year.

Can you name blonde celebrities who have died their hair a dark brown?

I have recently been thinking of dying my hair brown because i aM JUST tried of being the same old blonde. I was wondering what celebs have made that leap from blonde to dark brown. I can think of a few right now and they all look way better with their dark brown..or at least I think so. As I said I am blonde(kinda of a strawberry blonde) and I have pale skin an big blue eyes. I really want to dye my hair dark brown because I have always thought that pale skin and dark hair has always been prettier than being tan an platnum blonde. Would going like Ashlee Simpson black/brown be too drastic because when she changed colors I think she looked way better as a brunette than a blonde.

Can you name blonde celebrities who have died their hair a dark brown?

Cameron Diaz, Lindsay Lohan, Scarlett Johansson, Sarah Jessica Parker, Mischa Barton, Nicole Kidman.

Ashlee Simpson did go a little drastic...maybe you should make your hair just brown http://www.creative-trends.com/images/af...

Can you name blonde celebrities who have died their hair a dark brown?

I think so too. Take a chance, to tell you the truth, brunette is way better than blonde. I definetly think you should go for it.

Can you name blonde celebrities who have died their hair a dark brown?

Cameron Diaz, Christine Aquilara (although she went back to blonde), Ashlee Simpson (also went back to blonde), Charlese Theron (back to blonde, then now dark blonde). A bunch more.

Give it a try with a rinse; it can be washed out in afew weeks without the committment!

Can you name blonde celebrities who have died their hair a dark brown?

If your going to dye your hair brown and then you want it blonde again naturally, you will have gross regrowth, and your natural hair colour could not be so blonde anymore.

Just thought id tell you that before you went ahead

annd if you have pale skin it may look unatural dark brown, but i haven't seen you so i don't know.

Good luck whatever you do

What would be the best haircut for me (please see details, for hair experts/stylists only)?

I am a natural auburn and naturally have thick, medium textured, wavy hair. I have a heart shape face. I have a few cowlicks in my hairline at my forehead and I have a high forehead. My hair is presently to my shoulders and I do not like having my hair any longer and definitely don't care for it short. I am overweight at this time, but am working on losing weight. What would be the best haircut for me? And what would be the best way to wear my bangs? Please do not suggest coloring techniques because that is not what I'm asking.

In your answer please describe the cut and if you can, please direct me to a website which will show me the haircut. If there's a celebrity haircut that would look good on me, please state the celebrity's name.

if you like the length your at then add some layers, but not too many cuz that causes poof. for hair to your shoulders I wouldn't suggest layers any shorter than half way btwn your shoulders and chin. If you want bangs you'll have to work at them, a long swoopy side bang would work-and I always think it looks cute if the rest is curly but you just take a flat iron to the bangs-nothing like rounded 80's bangs, just nice and sleek. as for a pic...it would be kinda hard to find one with everything I suggested all in one....but if your ever in melbourne, fl......

oh yeah and the best curly hair product is tigi curls rock-it rocks

(not crunchy-yay)

look at Tom Cruises Wife. Its beutiful. cut it shoulder lenth (like you have now i guess) layer it, and staighten your bangs off to the side.

i think whatever you feel like you should do it and do not ask the people who you know will give you a bad idea. ask the hair styler

Well I think wavy is good. You might want to get high lights. You should cut your bangs off in the front but on the sides make it shorter then you regular hair.
