Celebrity fashion, wrong hair and skin color?

My favorite actress is Sienna Miller and I recently have decided to follow her fashion and influence it into my own style, but recently I read an article and she was saying something like, "i always pick outfits that'll look good on my golden blonde hair and gold skin."

OK, I have light brown hair and pale, freckly skin. Now I look at all the cute clothes I just purchased that are Oh-so classy Sienna Miller-like, and I realize that they'd look so much better on someone with blonde hair and tan skin, rather than brown-haired, freckly and pale me! Ugh! Now I feel like I can't be inspired by her fashion because I'm a completely diffrent skin and hair type/color than she is.

Help???

Plz tell me ur kidding...U dont need her style! Find what looks good on YOU.

Well, maybe you could get similar styles but in different colours. It sounds like you would look good in colours like blue and green.

Well, you can imitate her style but with different colors and shades. Right now, I can't even remember who my fashion icon is [I believe Paris Hilton + Hilary Duff] but I experiment with my style so often. I know what looks good on me, and I'm brunette and slightly pale.

Good luck. If need be, there's another person out there garunteed for your idol. 閳?br>Celebrity fashion, wrong hair and skin color?

You can purchase clothes with cuts that are inspired by her but different colors to suit you.

Just hold your head up high, she's all right but you don't need someone else's style.

There is more to an outfit than color. After all, most of the time the pieces have other color options, so just buy your clothes accordingly.

Plus, you need to most important accessory to all those outfits, CONFIDENCE!

Besides, I don't think the color issue is that much of a big deal. I'm black with reddish undertones so cool pastels like baby blue aren't the most flattering things on me, but I've worn plenty of light blue outfits and I didn't look bad.

Honestly, I don't think it that much of a big deal.

Now if you were completely different body types then that might pose a problem.

Also, I hope you are just taking INSPIRATION from her and not just copying. Clones are boring and they are never as good as the original. You have to develop your own style and adapt things you like from everywhere. At least that way you'll be able to choose things that are flatter and that you like.

Anywho, I can't give advice on changing yourself (like tanning or bleaching your hair blond) so I think it is best you adapt the pieces to be flattering to you and remember that it's likely nowhere near as bad as you think (if it is even bad at all!)

If you don't remember any of that, at least remember that INSPIRATION does not have a height/weight/ethnicity/gender/hair color/etc. requirement. But just plain COPYING does.
